Our Purple Day

Purple Day 2019 was a great success here on campus and across the UK

Here in Lingfield, we began the day early with a 12 hour Swimathon from 8am-8pm. A  team of over 30 swimmers made of Young Epilepsy staff and students each took turns swimming as many lengths as they could.

After a day of back crawl, front crawl, breast stroke and doggy paddle, they had completed 1640 legnths in total - the equivalent of 27km!

Across campus, our students began growing their business empire with the official opening of Cosy Cabin Tea Room and St Piers Store.

Both of these projects have been organised by the students, and will be ran by them each week. As well as being wonderful additions to the campus, they provide the students with incredible opportunities to develop their vocational skills and build their confidence.

In school and college, the students made sure the classrooms were ready...

School and college students judged each classroom and will award the winners later this week.

But of course we weren't the only ones celebrating Purple Day, as we saw hundreds of you getting involved...
