Determination and heart are driving Ross on his challenge

Eighteen year old Ross is taking on the The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge for BBC Children in Need. Ross, who has mixed aggressive epilepsy which can cause him to collapse multiple times a day, is one of six young riders cycling 470 miles from Jedburgh in Scotland to central London to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

Ross said:

I am so proud to be part of The One Show's Rickshaw Challenge for BBC Children in Need. I hope that everyone watching will see that with a little determination and lots of heart you can accomplish anything! Keep me and the rest of the team going by donating!

The team set off on 11 November, and hope to cross the finish line in time for the televised Children in Need Appeal on 18 November. To date the Rickshaw Challenge has raised more than £1,000,000 this year.

Children in Need will be funding a new Young Epilepsy Transitions Support Worker who will be supporting young people with epilepsy into adulthood, find out more about our Transitions and Connect Service here
