Boating pond

Kids love messing around in boats and the pond is a great place for doing just that – without even having to leave the campus.

Under supervision, pupils can take out kayaks, canoes and even a catamaran. Pupils find the sensory experience of being on the water hugely enjoyable and often very calming, and we use the pond for a range of learning activities including balance and kinaesthetic awareness.

The pond has a hoist for helping people in and out of the water, which makes it accessible to all.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon My daughter has really enjoyed attending this school, no problem is ever too big to solve, teachers are on the ball and continually flag up any problems. Always highlight good points as well so a great balance. I would definitely recommend this school to other parents, definitely a cut above the rest.
