Occupational therapy

At St Piers School, we don’t just care for children – we provide them with the skills they need to develop into happy, well-balanced young adults.

Our on site occupational therapists play an important part in this, working with pupils to identify their strengths and weaknesses and help them develop skills they can use in everyday life – in spite of any practical limitations.

We use formal assessments to do this. We also regularly observe pupils in the classroom at work and at play, to ensure they continue to develop their skills.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon St. Piers School has transformed our son. He is more independent, has learned extremely well, his conversation has improved in both content and intelligibility. We love that he attends here and has the potential to change his life chances immeasurably. Thank goodness you exist!
