Sensory suites

Sensory stimulation plays a huge part in what we do at St Piers, both in classroom teaching and school life in general.

Hand-in-hand with our unique creative arts programme, it provides children with a relaxing yet stimulating environment – one where they have the opportunity to interact and respond in different ways.

For pupils who may be finding the classroom stressful, or need one-on-one time with one of our teachers, a sensory room often provides that essential calming influence, and gives them time build up their confidence again.

Such is the success of our sensory suites that we’ve installed them in a number of the boarding houses and in several other locations around the campus.

Therapies

Along with our sensory suites, we provide students with a range of therapies depending on their needs.
