St Piers School celebrates World Book Week

World Book Week (4-8 March 2013) aims to be the 'biggest book show on earth' and St Piers School has embraced it with the popular and contemporary theme of James Bond.

Throughout the week St Piers School students were encouraged to read secret agent and spy books as part of their themed research. The week saw a wide variety of cross curricular links using themes from Design and Technology, Science, ICT, Art, English and students of all key stages were keen to get stuck into the activities as part of a ‘Diamonds are Forever’ interactive story. The event was a huge success allowing all students to get involved and develop their skills working as part of a team.

We’ve got a host of other events and activities lined-up. Why not have a look at what’s coming up next?
