Speech and language

At St Piers, speech and language therapy is available to anybody who needs it. We help with all types of difficulty in communicating, as well as difficulties with oral movements for eating, drinking and saliva control.

With on site speech and language therapists, we can attend classroom sessions or see children at another time. And because we share care plans at St Piers, we can involve everybody – teachers, parents and support workers – in the progress of each child.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon We feel very assured/comforted with the support our son is receiving with his complex epilepsy, this is enabling him to engage and progress with his education. His teacher is pleased with his progess so far and so are we as parents.
