Behaviour difficulties

A positive behaviour strategy is in place for all students.

This is particularly relevant to those presenting challenging behaviours. Each individual will be assessed and a tailored programme put in place to promote positive behaviour.

Our onsite psychology team will offer support and counselling to the young person to develop their understanding of their challenges. At the core of our approach is the belief that all behaviours, including challenging ones, are an attempt to communicate.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon We were so apprehensive to send our son to a residential school but cannot believe the wonderful progress he has made and are so grateful to all the staff. The first time we returned from a term break he could not get out of the car quick enough with the biggest smile which was so reassuring. During his first break at home everyone commented on how much better his behaviour was and he was so much more relaxed himself. Thank-you.
