Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Support is provided in a number of ways, crucially by getting to know and understand the student and what may cause them to become overstimulated.

In line with our Positive Behaviour Strategy, any behaviour is assumed to be an attempt at communication and this is central to our approach.

Support is also provided by our various therapy teams, including the psychology team.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon St. Piers/Young Epilepsy has been a lifesaver. The staff are incredible – totally devoted, attend to the childrens needs both with a fair amount of discipline/understanding and care. They manage to put the fun back into these disabled childrens lives. A fantastic school all round.
