Religious education

Spiritual, moral and cultural development

Through our religious education curriculum, we help pupils develop an understanding of themselves and others, and promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of individuals, groups and communities.

RE forms part of the Foundation Area of the curriculum and is closely linked with PSHE.

PSHE and the core curriculum

Studied by all students in the main school and sixth form, the core curriculum includes five key areas.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon St. Piers exceeds all expectations. My daughter is the happiest, most supported and least agitated she has ever been in her entire life! I feel incredibly proud of all of her achievements since she has been at the school; but do not under estimate for a moment, the sheer amount of hard work, dedication and care that has gone into enabling my lovely lady to flourish as she has, both educationally and socially. Thank-you so very much for enriching both her and her families lives…St. Piers Rocks!!
