Rachel Crossley - Governor

Rachel Crossley head shotRachel is a Mathematics graduate, with a Master’s Degree from the University of Nottingham, and a Diploma in Management Studies from Kingston Business School.

She joined Surrey County Council as a management trainee in 2003 and has held several posts since, before taking on her current role as Democratic Services Lead Manager in July 2007. As the Lead Manager, Rachel is responsible for ensuring Surrey’s County Councillors are well supported and have the information they need to make decisions on services. She also undertakes a number of other volunteering activities when time allows, including team days and as a mentor for looked after young people in Surrey.
