Creative Arts

Our highly skilled creative arts team delivers an exciting theme based curriculum, teaching communication and social skills through music, dance and drama. Our style is based on the principles of Intensive Interaction, with each student having their own voice. Progress is made through enjoyment, motivation, encouragement and a setting that allows your wildest imaginings to become a possibility.

Each year we create a new environment that is realistic, versatile, educational and fun. This allows our young people to experience and explore a time or place that they would otherwise struggle to appreciate. Our topics have included Ancient Egypt, the circus, Narnia and the jungle. It is sensory, experiential, collaborative learning in the extreme.

Participation, whether active or passive, is dictated by each individual which means they have the control. Our aim is to raise every student’s self-esteem, self-belief and self-confidence.

Feedback from parents

Quote Icon My son is very happy going to school. He has made progress in most areas and has made lots of friends. I would recommend St. Piers to anyone who has a child that is in need of a very caring school.
